Billericay Town have confirmed the signing of 37-year-old striker Chris Dickson following his departure from fellow Isthmian Premier League side Cray Wanderers.

Dickson began his career with Erith & Belvedere Football Club and then Dulwich Hamlet. After prolific goal-scoring returns at those two clubs, he joined Charlton Athletic for a five-figure fee. A series of loan spells followed at The Valley before a permanent switch to Nea Salamis Famagusta in Cyprus but he returned to England with Dagenham & Redbridge in 2013. Following spells at a number of other Cypriot teams, Dickson signed for Sutton United, before joining the likes of Chelmsford City, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Hornchurch. The East-Dulwich born attacker also represented Ghana on two occasions and he was close to making the 2008 African Cup of Nations squad, however, he was not selected as Ghana finished in third place.
Welcome to Billericay, Chris Dickson!
